Lithology and Thickness

Gray, dark-gray clays with layers of limestone-coquina, above (are?) alternation of clays, siltstone (aleurolites), sandstones. Thickness 34-130 m.

Conformably lies on the Balakhanin Fm

Conformably overlain by the Aktag Fm.

Regional extent

South-West Gissar. Corresponds to the "s" suite of Simakov and layers with Lopha falcata and Gyropleura gaurdakensis Bobkova (51). Corresponds to part of the Daralitaus Fm (51; 414; 446).
